Language (Indonesian)

Students in Year 3 to Year 6 study Indonesian for 50 minutes a week. The focus is on speaking, listening, reading and writing in Indonesian as well as learning about the culture and geography of one of our closest neighbours.

I use online resources, books, games, stories, songs and art to support student learning.

Our main events this year are - Harmony Week with an Indonesian dance incursion and the assembly on Friday 20th March with a play performed in Indonesian as well as Language Week activities in the first week in August.

You are welcome to visit the new Indonesian class in LA 6 and if you are heading to Bali you might like to borrow a phrase book or information pamphlet.
